ALL DONATIONS ARE DOUBLED
By Newsmatch and the Knight Foundation
"Donations with a Twist" - When you support the Rhode Island Spotlight, your gift does so much more than providing award-winning journalism to the state, but your gift also provides much needed attention to all of these worthy community organizations and that attention results in an increase of volunteers, clients served and donations.
Please consider giving your most generous donation so we may continue to promote the worthy organizations highlighted in our Spotlight features. As a non-profit organization your gifts are 100% tax deductible. And as a member of the Hummel Club, you will receive early notification of our reports as well as a behind the scenes report from Jim.
You may provide gifts on a one-time basis or pre-set monthly contributions.
Use this button to make a one time donation of any amount with your credit card through the secure PayPal service.
You may also provide a monthly donation.
Corporate sponsors are also welcome and receive recognition for their contributions on our website and in daily communications with our thousands of email subscribers.
Platinum corporate benefactors may sponsor a specific video report and receive recognition for those gifts on Rhode Island PBS as well.
Donor Transparency Policy
We are committed to transparency in every aspect of funding our organization. Accepting financial support does not mean we endorse donors or their products, services or opinions. We accept gifts, grants and sponsorships from individuals, organizations and foundations to help with our general operations, coverage of specific topics, and special projects. Our news judgments are made independently – not based on or influenced by donors.
We do not give supporters the rights to assign, review or edit content. We will make public all donors who give $5000 or more per year - listed on our Platinum Sponsor List on this webpage. As a nonprofit, we will avoid accepting donations from anonymous sources, and we will not accept donations from government entities, political parties, elected officials or candidates actively seeking public office. We will not accept donations from sources who, deemed by our board of directors, present a conflict of interest with our work or compromise our independence.
